The Gulf Coast Discount Medical Plan is owned and operated by Manatee County Rural Health Services, Inc. (MCRHS), a Joint Commission accredited, private not for profit physician group that has served the Manatee County Florida area for nearly 30 years.

MCRHS is dedicated to the service of all patients regardless of their ability to pay.

Today more than 50,000 members of working families are uninsured in Manatee County and their numbers are growing. Therefore we are grateful that many independent physicians and other health care providers in our community are participating in the Gulf Coast Discount Medical Plan.

• Gulf Coast Discount Medical Plan members are entitled to discounts when participating health care provider’s bills are paid at the time of service.
• Gulf Coast Discount Medical Plan is not a health insurance plan and will not make any payment on a member’s behalf.
